Pyrenees Shire Pools are ready for summer when it arrives!

Pools at Avoca, Landsborough and Beaufort are ready for patrons, and for the sunshine!

Unexpected mechanical issues with the Beaufort heat pumps mean they aren’t functioning at 100 per cent capacity. Council is working with the YMCA on ensuring the pumps are working as quickly as possible. Council apologises for the inconvenience caused. Users are advised the water will take some time and warmer weather to increase in temperature.

Warmer weather this weekend (7/12) will mean the pools are scheduled to be open. Our pools won’t open if the forecasted temperature is below 20 degrees.

YMCA provides the pool service on behalf of Council. For upcoming special events, please keep an eye on their Facebook page Pyrenees Shire Pools.
