Fire emergency community meetings to be held in Avoca and Beaufort

Community meetings about the ongoing fire emergency in the Pyrenees Shire are being held in Avoca and Beaufort tomorrow, Tuesday 27 February.

The meetings will be at 10am at Avoca Shire Hall and at 2pm at Beaufort Shire Hall.

For those in our community unable to attend in person, the meetings will be livestreamed on the Pyrenees Shire Council Facebook page.

Residents are encouraged to watch to hear the latest information from the Incident Control Centre.

Wednesday is predicted to be an extreme fire weather day. It is crucial for residents to prepare and take necessary precautions to safeguard themselves and their properties.
